Clinton County Sheriff (OH) selects ID Dispatch CAD
and ID Mobile Software from ID Networks

February 21, 2008

ASHTABULA, OH – ID Networks announced today that it will be installing its newest product line offering, ID Dispatch software, at the Clinton County Sheriff’s dispatch center over the next several months. The Clinton County Sheriff’s office is located in Wilmington, Ohio, in southwest Ohio.

According to Douglas Blenman, Sr., President of ID Networks, “The CAD system will be fully integrated with Clinton County’s other ID Networks applications, namely Calls for Service, RMS Field Reporting, Master Indexes, Jail Management, Mugshot Imaging, and their criminal Livescan system records. Our CAD product will significantly improve their present dispatch operation and provides the Message Manager foundation for their county-based mobile system. Clinton County already uses DDTI for their mapping files, so our embedded DDTI solution is a perfect fit for their county.”

As part of the project, ID Networks is also providing real-time interfaces with the State of Ohio LEADS system, the Verizon 911 system, and DDTI’s interactive mapping databases. Major functionality will also include AVL using GPS, computerized unit recommendations, visual mapping interfaces for CAD and Mobile personnel, officer initiated dispatching from mobile units, Fire Run cards, TDD integration, and pin mapping for unit and incident activities.

The new SQL based CAD system is a distributed server and database architecture written in Microsoft .NET framework, providing for powerful CAD workstations working online or offline, without any loss of operation if the CAD server goes down. The ID Networks Message Manager provides real-time consistency among all CAD stations and servers, insuring that CAD operators can stay up and running regardless of the status of other workstations or servers.

According to Colonel Brian Prickett, “ID Networks is providing the mission critical CAD and Mobile pieces to our single-vendor, end-to-end solution that we have been waiting for.  Our Emergency CAD and Field Operations will now be tied into the rest of our record keeping functions.  Once we get the CAD system installed, we are moving forward with our mobile laptop testing, online with CAD and Records Management in our cars.  Our future Mobile LEADS interface and the ID Mobile software will significantly enhance our field officer efficiency later this year.”

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office has been using ID Networks software since the late 1980’s. ID Networks provides a full complement of IT services for hardware, software, and system maintenance.

ID Networks provides an array of public safety and law enforcement software solutions. Products range from Computer Aided Dispatch and Mobile Data systems for dispatch centers to Records Systems, Imaging Systems, Livescan Fingerprinting, Jail Management Systems, Biometric Matching Systems and IJIS Sharing Systems for Police, Sheriffs, and State Police Agencies. We provide a full range of consulting, project management installation, training, and support services both during and after the sale. Our success is driven by applying new technologies in a manner consistent with market expectations and introducing work flow efficiencies to our customer base. www.idnetworks.com
