Ashtabula, Ohio, April 1st, 2015 – ID Networks, Inc., a leading developer of Public Safety and Biometric software, announced today the acquisition of DaProSystems of Virginia.  DaProSystems has been a 30-year, long-term provider of Public Safety and Law Enforcement systems in Virginia with over 170 agencies using their software.

ID Networks previously had over 350 installed systems in Virginia.  With the expansion of their Virginia customer base, the total is now over 500 accounts.  Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, ID Networks is providing long term maintenance and support for all DaProSystems legacy software systems.  “In order to insure our transition is without flaws, ID Networks has employed key DaProSystems employees to guarantee business as usual support,” according to Douglas Blenman, Sr., President of ID Networks.

ID Networks offers an advanced Next-Gen Public Safety product line, to include 9-1-1, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile CAD, Mobile Field Reporting, and Records Management (RMS).  ID Networks also provides mature product lines for Law Enforcement and Biometrics applications.

As part of the acquisition agreement, ID Networks has also acquired the CIVILITY Civil Process software system, which will enhance its offerings within their customer base.
